Focusing on some fanart this week(as well as restocks and such.) Kikis delivery service is one of my favorite feel good movies. The cozy witchy vibes are obviously so lovely to me. From the witches to the bakery its definitely influenced me.
Ive made a kiki frame before but i wanted to improve upon the drawings. I drew these digitally first, then made a stencil, transferred it to the frame, then went in to make some adjustments and block what will be burned vs stained.
Im very bad at timing everything i do but the drawing probably took about 30-40min and transferring took about 15 if i guessed. Once i go into wood-burning it’ll probably be an hour or so. Then I’ll apply the stain and seal it with a spray varnish & add the hook on the back. I tend to lose track of time while working then occasionally look up for a snack or to change the youtube video thats playing.
